Ceilings & Bulkheads

Dropped ceilings and island bulkheads are being introduced into many open plan kitchen designs since the huge increase in demand for island cooking. Bulkheads are a neat way to conceal flush fitting ceiling extractors as well as creating a an opportunity to cleverly disguise hidden perimeter room lighting.

Ceiling coving also works hand in hand with this area of the project. With a wide variety of coving profiles ranging from more castellated traditional coving to slick ultra-modern flat ceiling coving this can also be used to enhance the feeling of seamlessness as well as offering ideas to create some amazing ambient lighting effects.
